Pendleton, spent 17 years on the sidelines with the men’ssoccer program, accumulating a 293-42-12 mark with two nationalchampionships, three national runner-up finishes, six SSC titlesand 14 postseason appearances.  He arrived in 1991 andimmediately put his name in the record books by going 22-0-2 andwinning the program’s second national crown.  He wouldgo on to win his second, and the program’s third nationaltitle in 2003 with a 22-0-1 mark.  His overall numbers werestaggering as he has won 17 or more games in a season on nineoccasions, averaging 16.8 wins a year, while having lost four ormore games just four times.  Lynn’s teams were built onexplosive offensives and staunch defense, scoring 50 or more goals13 times and yielding 20 goals or less 13 times with 177shutouts.  He left Lynn in 2007 as the NCAA Division IIall-time winningest coach, a mark that still stands today. The Sheffield, England, native coached 46 of the 88 All-Americaselections for Lynn, 70 All-SSC honorees and 23 ScholarAll-Americans.
