Lynn University

Dr. Young became Lynn University's fourth athletic director onApril 23, 1993 and was instrumental in the Fighting Knights makingthe transition from the NAIA to the NCAA Division II level. Duringhis tenure Lynn saw its athletic programs reach new heights as overa span of nine years the Blue and White won 13 NAIA and NCAANational Championships. In 1996 Lynn joined the Sunshine StateConference and became a full member in 1997. Over the five years LUwas in the SSC with Young at the helm it accumulated six conferencetitles. A former athletic director at Oklahoma State, WashingtonState and Florida Atlantic University. Young was also the mainforce behind the addition of several teams at Lynn University.
