Karin Svensson was a two-sport standout for both the Fighting Knight women’s tennis (1996) and women’s soccer (1995-98) programs. In her lone season as a tennis player, Svenson helped Lynn to 18 wins and the program’s third NAIA National Championship.
As a four-year member of the soccer program, she was named an All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America as a sophomore in 1996, while helping the Fighting Knights to 81 wins during that stretch. Lynn captured the NAIA National Championship in the fall of 1995 and finished as the NCAA National Runner-up in 1996 before winning the program’s one and only NCAA National Championship in 1998.
